" MY ACTIVITIES"

Born and brought up in a poor family at Banavasi, came up in life with own efforts and in the forefront of various movement since student days. Participated actively in activities related to art, literature, science, culture, social service and sports. Was the editor of hand written magazine at school level and also in the magazines devoted to music in the music department of the college. (1994-95)

Brought up under the tutelage of Sri K.Abhishankar,a freedom fighter and the chief editor of the gazetteer published by the Karnataka Government since 1992.Did B.A and B.Ed  digree under his able guidance. The interaction and close association with Sri Abhishankar (1992-1998) helped to realize human values. The thought process was oriented towards attaining ideals of life.

Worked as a reporter to local daily at Sirsi “Lokha Dhwani” in the student days and also served as a District reporter to monthly Magazines like“Baduku, Daari, Mane”. Later joined to  “Kannada Prabha”, a reputed Kannada daily of Karnataka as a News Contributor at the same time elected the president of Student Federation (SFI) in the college, led many student movement during the period.                                                                        

Served As a President of “Sneha Kala Kunja”,a cultural organization of Sirsi from 1994 to 1996.Arranged many concerts of reputed musicians at Sirsi.Started BRA Youth Association at Banavasi in 1994.As a founder President  of this Association(1994-96),worked sincerely to get all government facilities to the economically backward and deprived classes of the society.

Worked as History teacher in Buddha English Residential School at Bidadi in Bangalore. After the death of Abhishankar the mentor, left Bangalore and joined as language teacher in S.S.G.High School at Narur Village in 1998.Strived for all-round development of the school.

Worked as the member of Land Tribunal of Sirsi Taluk from 2000 to 2002.As a member of land tribunal, tried hard for speedy judgement of cases infavour of exploited Dalits and deprived farmers.

Conferred with “Shikshan Shri” Award by Chitradurga Muruga Rajendra Math at the hands of Shri Shivamurthy Muruga Rajendra Sharana,the pontiff. Received “Best Teacher Award” at District level(1999-2000)

Membership of Rotary Gram Dal at Banavasi sponsored by Sirsi Rotary club in 1999.Served as its Secretary and treasurer made organized effort for rural development through Rotary wing.

Joined Karnataka Tourism Department as Tourism Promoter on 03-12-2002.

Represented the department of tourism, Govt.of Karnataka in India International  Trade fair at New Delhi in the year 2010 and also represented in 5^th Vibranth  Gujarat Global Summit- 2011 at Ahmadabad. Gained lot of knowledge about Tourism.

Since joining in the department, shown lot of interest in Departmental work and dedicated himself for the growth of Tourism in the State.
